First Stop: Singapore

I’ve heard it said that if you’ve seen one airport, you’ve seen them all. Well they obviously have never been to Singapore. Long marble corridors are lined with intricate waterfalls and high ceiling allow jungles of native trees to grown inside; even the Lou looks like you’re going first class.

I’ve lost count of how many total hours we’ve spent in the air, but now we’ve finally touched down in Singapore City to catch up on jetlag before we leave again Tuesday morning for Kathmandu. We’re on our way to the hotel to check in and then it’s out to poke around and take in the sights.

I love the feeling of sticking out in the crowd and being in the place where I am indeed the minority. It’s wonderful to be in a truly “foreign” place. Namaste
